Weekend Wrap-Up - 20th October 2008

This is what happened over the weekend in Foreas and/or Arieki!

Centaurus AFS Boxing Tournament

Last Friday’s AFS Tournament on Centaurus saw the victory of the following soldiers:

• 1st place Vonhellman,
• 2nd place Astralon,
• 3rd place Breton.

Shaiar was once again at the helm of the organisation and I hear he is in the process of secretly manufacturing more dye for a future edition of the AFS Boxing Tournament!

Cassiopeia Friday Night Fight

It was a great night as FnF made a stop over on Cassie this evening for a boxing goodness! A few of the usual suspects were there tonight along with some newcomers and, as always, GM_Vagabond stopped in to help out with the fun.

Round One: Slamscape defeated Valashar, Andriss beat Machka, Koolaidman took out Bedford, Cappelli overcame Chandler, Deadra defeated Xoi, Cyxult beat Mclearan, Saberwraith took out Dralnu and Pegasus got a bye.

Round Two: Andriss defeated Slamscape, Cappelli beat Koolaidman, Deadra took out Pegasus and Saberwraith overcame Cyxult.

Semi-Finals: Andriss defeated Cappelli and Deadra beat Saberwraith.

Finals: Deadra defeated Andriss

Final Challenge: Being an FNF Veteran, Deadra was ready with their answer tonight and opted to take on the Pride and Trust Challenge. Once the teams were chosen it was Deadra and Xoi taking on Andriss and Slamscape. The challengers were quick to jump on the Champion and, before long, they had taken him out of the match leaving Xoi to fend for themself. Unfortunately Xoi was no match for the onslaught for two former Champions and quickly fell beside their partner.

It was a fun night again tonight. Many thanks to everyone that came out. It’s always fun to see new faces at FNF. We’ll see you next week on Orion!
